Learn, step by step
Build familiarity with characters through incremental lessons, Koch-style progression, mnemonic aids, and signal exploration.
01A thoughtful learning space for Morse code. Move from first signals to confident recognition through guided lessons, focused practice, audio tools, and progress that stays close at hand.
Relay brings the pieces of Morse learning together, so you can build understanding, test yourself, and return to the signals that need more time.
Build familiarity with characters through incremental lessons, Koch-style progression, mnemonic aids, and signal exploration.
01Switch between speed drills, flashcards, endless practice, listening and typing, memory, reading, and translation exercises.
02Turn repetition into a challenge with Morse Invaders, Signal Rush, Decode & Translate, Morse Match, and Emergency Relay.
03Explore audio playback, WAV generation, audio-file decoding, and signal analysis. Results can vary with recording quality and signal conditions.
♫Keep an eye on XP, levels, streaks, badges, character mastery, review scheduling, mistakes, and words-per-minute trends.
↗Look up character details and prosigns in a searchable Morse reference.
06Convert between text and Morse, use custom dictionaries, and export your work with tools designed for your workflow.
07Adjust interface language, light or dark appearance, audio and timing controls, and accessibility preferences.
08Relay is designed around a simple rhythm: learn something new, practise retrieving it, review what felt difficult, then return with a little more confidence. Your progress helps make each session feel connected to the last.
Build a foundation through guided, incremental lessons.
Train your ear and memory with focused drills and games.
Use your history to revisit difficult characters and keep momentum.
Relay is designed to keep core learning independent of a Relay-owned application backend. The supplied app stores learning state primarily in your browser, with tools to export and import a backup.
No Relay account is required by the supplied source. Learning data is associated with your browser profile and site origin, not a Relay account. It does not automatically sync across browsers or devices.
Export important progress and keep the backup somewhere safe. Clearing browser data, removing a profile, or losing a device may remove local progress. Treat exported files as personal data.
No. Translation is one part of a broader learning environment that includes structured lessons, practice modes, games, audio tools, a searchable reference, and progress tracking.
Relay is designed as an installable Progressive Web App with offline-first behavior after its resources have been loaded and cached successfully. Availability can depend on the browser and the deployed build, so test offline reloads on the version you use.
The supplied source is designed to store application state primarily in browser storage and does not require a Relay account or Relay-owned application backend for core learning. Optional AI features send relevant requests to the provider you configure. Hosting, browser, and third-party services have their own data practices.
The repository does not currently claim a verified live demo. Follow the GitHub repository for project updates and use the setup instructions to run the app locally.
Relay currently uses a custom personal-use and non-commercial sharing license. Commercial use, paid hosting, and commercial redistribution require prior written permission. Read the full license before using or distributing the software.
